FOC
GALLERY of Barcelona, was born in the year 1997 as Art gallery and Permanent
Centre of the Enamel, being co-directors, the enamellers and professors: Andreu
VILASIS and Núria LÓPEZ - RIBALTA. During 6 years they worked open to the
public in Barcelona presenting a group of international exhibitions of enamel becoming an
important reference point for the art of the enamel and with international recognition.
Works of enamellers 'artists were presented
as: Perote ARMENGOL. Rosa GELPÍ, Carme LLORENS, Montserrat MAINAR, Maïs, Roser LLEGET,
Dolors CRESPÍ, María CLARET, Francesc VILASÍS-CAPALLEJA, Modest MORATÓ, Esmalts MARCH,
M. Teresa BACH, Magda CAMPS... among the Catalan School of Barcelona and also the youths
values: Gemma MOLES, Jessica MEROÑO, Meritxell CASTELLANO, Berta CIURANS, Gemma LLOP,
Rosalía POMÉS, Mercedes HERNANDO, Pilar CASTELLANO (Zaragoza) and Antonio OLLOQUI
(Vitoria) of the rest of the State.
And we also highlight the exhibitions homage of Consol MASCAREÑAS and Ninon COLLET.
Among the foreigners: Carolynn DELZOPPO (Australia), Kioko Iio and Nobuko Horigome
(Japan), Anne FAUTEUX (Canada), Critina WESKOTT (Germany), Vincent PECAUD (França),
STUDIO FUSION of London (Great Britain), Vitalij PETROV of the Russian Csuvas Republic and
Lilian MENACHE (Mexico).
In July of the 2003 it ceased in their
activities like space open to the public.
With an innovation spirit and following the
current situation and current circumstances of the world of art of enamelling FOC GALLERY
reborn in the 2004 as Virtual Gallery creating a space in the net like it had announced to
their friends, followers and clients. The spirit continues being the same one: to present
and to diffuse the works and last creations of the artists of ENAMEL ART at international
level, open to a wider and more heterogeneous public thanks to the new diffusion channels.
You will find permanently the directors of
the gallery work and virtual exhibitions periodically that national and international
artists will present according to a program that will be updated.
